The  Pyatigorsk Medical and Pharmaceutical Institute is founded in the year 1943 by the founder Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Moscow, and accredited by the State Government. The University’s mission is of highly qualified specialists that combine to intellectual socio-economic & cultural development and also ensure quality of education & research in the field of Pharmacy & Medicine.

They have 249 academic teachers,36 Doctor of Science. During the course of time, around 600 students have completed their training and are now working in different countries. The Institute has 2 buildings, 4 dormitories , a botanical garden, and a sports complex All the departments are properly equipped with modern appliances and personal computers.

The University is located in the resort part of the North Caucasus of the Russian Federation, combining healing air, mineral waters and amazing beauty of the mountain landscape.
