The following is the basic BMM Eligibility required to take admission into the course:
Interested eligible candidates are offered admission to the BMM course mostly based on performance in a relevant university or institute level entrance test. that can be called Common Entrance Examinations (CET).
Most often, subsequently, two additional rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview are held for assessment of the candidate’s general aptitude for admission into the BMM course.
Bachelor Of Mass Media [B.M.M.] is a course that deals with various forms of mass communication such as newspapers, films, television etc. The main subjects of BMM are journalism, advertising, film production, PR, corporate communication, etc.
the curriculum of the three-year course covers a wide range of advertising, communication and public relations. Students can choose a major in their final year, which can be journalism or advertising.
More than 800 colleges offer this special undergraduate course in India. Students can practice in the field of mass communication full-time and part-time. Students can also choose correspondence and distance learning formats.
The course teaches students to be effective in job hunting in both the private and public sectors. In jobs like reporter, cameraman, journalist, cinematographer, editor, copywriter, critic, media designer and many others.
After completing the course, students have the opportunity to obtain higher education. They can complete degrees in e.g. MBA, MA, Master in Mass Communication.
